Sharon became part of the Microbiota Research and Therapeutics team in October of 2018. She was drawn to the program after attending a lecture series where Dr. Khoruts was a panelist. Her experience in both human services and a diagnostic lab, as well as interest in natural therapies, culminated in this opportunity to manufacture intestinal microbiota capsules that can impact health in such a dramatic way.
Outside the lab, Sharon generally spends most of her time trying to keep up with her daughter. She also enjoys salsa and swing dancing, cultural events and foods, blogging, and exploring the world.
