Nataliia Kuchma

Nataliia is from the wonderful city of Sumy, which is located in the north-east of Ukraine. She came to Minnesota with her kindergarten daughter September 2022.

In Ukraine, Nataliia worked as a general practitioner and gastroenterologist. In addition, she taught internal medicine for Sumy State University. In 2016, Nataliia received a PhD degree in the field of gastroenterology; specifically, the influence of methylene tetrahydrofolate reductase gene polymorphism of C677T on the content of blood homocysteine in patients with NAFLD and its correction. As part of the Department of Internal Medicine of Sumy State University, she took part in clinical research. The main nosology with which she worked was inflammatory bowel diseases.
