Amanda is a gastroenterologist from Sao Paulo, Brazil and has been living in Minnesota since 2021. Her interest in the role of intestinal microbiota in many diseases combined with her interest in research drove her to join our group in February 2022.  

In her free time, she likes to be in the nature, listen to her husband playing Bossa Nova on the guitar, and travel the world!
